So, you want to start a podcast?

Not only can you earn six or seven figures from a successful podcast, but you can also have the kind of lifestyle that you want.

You can be your own boss, call the shots, record episodes from anywhere, and have your voice heard by thousands across the world.

You can have fascinating convos with guests and interact with your listeners on social media.

It’s definitely a weird feeling. It’s kind of like being a micro-celebrity.

I started my podcast, Crowdfunding Demystified out of my apartment in 2015.

Since that time, I’ve produced more than 200 shows and it’s gotten hundreds of positive reviews on iTunes.

But, it didn’t start there. No where close.

My first few episodes barely got any downloads. I got a lot of feedback that my voice sounded meek, monotone, and put most listeners to sleep.

I had a lot of time on my hands, so I decided to spend a few hours each day learning about podcasting. I read up on microphones, audio editing, file hosting, the iTunes marketplace, marketing and more.

Slowly, I started to see some results in my work. I also discovered tons of podcasting tricks along the way.

By the time I gotten to my 50th podcast episode, I had achieved a remarkable transformation in my voice and experienced a surge of downloads.

I started having friends, listeners, and others in my industry saying things like “wow, you have a perfect voice for podcasting.” It was mind-blowing.

The guests that came on my show started to improve as well!
